Report to Members; 2009 - 2010
This past year for Leadership Lake County has been a year of great change. With a new strategic plan in place and a dynamic Board of Trustees ready for action, we are moving into the future from a position of strength. As a result, I believe this organization is well positioned to be more impactful within our community than ever before. The tradition of excellence that has always been at the heart of the Leadership Lake County programs, coupled with the growing numbers of participants (both young and more experienced) who now fill our alumni ranks, should combine for great things ahead.
Without the dedicated support provided by many volunteers and organizations who step forward with immeasurable time and countless resources, our programs would not enjoy the success we have known over the years. In order to continue to thrive, that support becomes even more important as we try to reach out to our community in new and exciting ways. I am sure I speak for the entire Board of Trustees when I say how much we appreciate all that has been done for Leadership Lake County by our alumni, local businesses and governmental leaders.
