THE MISSION

To provide Leadership Lake County graduates a venue to continue community learning, foster community stewardship and enhance graduate networking.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

• The Alumni Association is a committee of the LLC Board of Trustees with a liaison.
• As a strategic arm of Leadership Lake County, the Alumni Association has Alumni as its primary focus. As such its programs and activities are expected to be self-sustaining. While fund raising is not the primary purpose of the association, it may choose to support such efforts by the organization.
• To include networking opportunities other than Roving Speakeasies (vary the networking venues and include an informational segment to the event).
• Strengthen the LLC program with program planning support.
• Engage every LLC Class.

 THE PRIORITY LIST

• Education: continue community learning
• Networking: social
• Community and stewardship: community service projects
• Social media, networking and website ideas will have a place in all three categories.

It is the goal of the Alumni Association to have 2 representatives from each Class.

Their responsibilities would include contacting their classmates to remind them of events and to participate in the alumni committee. It is the plan to be respectful of everyone’s time (not meet just to meet) and respectful of their financial commitments.
