Leadership Lake County was founded by a prominent group of community leaders to ensure a continued legacy of committed, diverse, and well informed leaders in Lake County.  Established in 1986 as a 501c3 organization, Leadership Lake County has served Lake County by seeking out a diverse mix of existing and emerging leaders.  It is a year-long program that offers the opportunity to develop a deeper awareness of our community.

Who is Leadership Lake County?

Leadership Lake County alumni of adult and youth have held positions which include executives of major corporations, directors of non-profit organizations, government leaders and student council presidents.  Our graduates run for political office, champion causes, mentor youth, promote the arts and have been recognized and honored for their business successes and community service.
